Games built with love, for and by the people who play them.

Portside Games makes small, deep games for iPhone, iPad and Mac. No ads, no tracking.

Our first game

Undertow Explorer

Descend the drowned wreck.

A traditional turn-based roguelike set in the flooded belly of a ship that shouldn't still be sinking. Five regions, twenty-five decks, four classes — and permadeath waiting on every one of them.

How we work

Small games, made carefully

One person, no publisher, no funding round. That shapes what we ship: fewer games, built slowly, with the things we dislike about modern mobile games left out on purpose.

Buy it once

A single up-front price. No advertising, no in-app purchases, no season passes, no energy timers, no nagging to rate the app.

Yours, offline

Undertow Explorer runs entirely on your device and works with no network connection at all. No account to create, nothing to sign in to.

Nothing collected

No analytics SDKs, no crash trackers, no advertising identifiers. We don't collect your data because we never send it anywhere.

Built for Apple platforms

Written in Swift and built for iPhone, iPad and Mac — with hardware keyboard and game-controller support where it makes sense.

Deep, not long

Systems that interact in ways we didn't fully plan, rather than content padded out to fill a checklist. Short sessions, high replay value.

A real person answers

Support email goes to the person who wrote the game. Bug reports and feature ideas genuinely shape what gets built next.

Get in touch

Questions, bug reports, or press enquiries — we read everything.
